Christmas Day Swim 2011

Suzuki Voilin Group Douglas Shopping Centre 21st December 2011

Teachers Frances Jermyn and Trudy Bryon-Fahy along with pupils from Gaelscoil Ui Riada and Eglantine Girls NS, put on a super performance in Douglas Shopping Centre, they really added to the Christmas spirit in the new shopping centre and raised over €750 for our charity.  A very bigh Thank You to all involved and very well done and of course thank you to the shoppers for your generous donations.  The cheque presentation will take place at the School of Music on Sat 4th Feb 2012.

Children's Leukaemia Association Launch their new Mascot 'Harry Hippo'

On the 17th December 2011 our mascot 'Harry' arrived at our office at9 Dyke Parade to lots of fanfare. Many important people were there to shake his hand including the Lord Mayor Cllr Terry Shannon, fundraisers and children and of course the Directors of the CLA.  Harry will be attending lots of fundraising events this year and he is happy to visit any school or sports club or event.  Just give Rose Scanlan in the office a call to arrange.
